When I input:

Integrate[E^(I k x), {x, -\[Infinity], +\[Infinity]}]

It comes out:

Integrate::idiv: Integral of E^(I k x) does not converge on {-\[Infinity],\[Infinity]}

But I hope the result is:
DiracDelta[k]
-------------------------------------

Do you have a reference which says that DiracDelta[k] is the value of the integral of exp(I k x) from x=-infinity to infinity?
