Please attach a notebook file with enough input so someone else can try it. Run it before attaching so we can see the dark plots.
If you click on the blue >> at the end of the output from
?ArrayPlot
that will open the main reference page on ArrayPlot. Do the examples there look ok? If you run them, do they show up the same or dark?
