Just beginning with Mathematica. Watched and understood Hands On... 1 and 2.
Would like to resolve basic vectors. You know, car goes north for 3 miles then east 7 miles. (I can do it with paper and pencil and will get more complex as I learn Mathematica.) I searched documentation for 'vectors' but did not find simple example to play with. Downloaded demonstrations of 2D vectors found in 'Physics - high school' but associated programming details for what I want are buried somewhere in the complexity of the demonstration. Searched this forum but no luck.
Just want to to input the vector magnitudes and directions and output same for resultant.
