Hello,
I'm attempting to fit an ordinary differential equation (which can not be solved analytically) to a data set. I wonder if it is possible to introduce the (unsolved) differential equation in Mathematica, together with the dataset and let the computer calculate the best fit, based on a least square method.
If somebody knows if this is possible or not, please let me now.
Since I'm very new at Mathematica (not even started actually), some code related to the problem would be very welcome.
thank you,
Bas
