Hello,
I'm working on a computer vision project, and I had a problem with viewing some of my heavy plots which include several planes and cubes because its very slow and hangs the notebook.
I found out that all of my Graphics are rendered using CPU even though my GPU is recent and supports both OpenCL and OpenGL.
I have ATI Mobility Radeon 4650, Mathematica 8 and
I suffer this problem on both Linux and Windows. Even my friends with nVidia hardware suffer the same problem.
Does Mathematica in fact support Hardware Accelerated rendering?
Is there some option I can set? I tried playing with the Rendering Options in the Option Inspector but had no luck.
Is there a way to make my rendering faster or optimize my Graphics for faster rendering? any tips?
