Hi!
I'm using Mathematica for statistical analysis. However can't get the program to solve a relatively banal expression:
L=∏i {1/[√(2π)σ]*[yi-axi-b]^2/2σ^2}
in which xi and yi are given data values. My problem is that I can't manage to combine each xi with it's correspondent yi. It seems as though the operator Product is only capable of combining all the yi values with each xi (which is something I don't want). Can anybody help me?
