My first problem occurs when I use the symbol for theta. I have one
theta which is subscripted to designate a constant and another theta
which is my integration variable. Mathematica ignores the sub- script
on the constant and uses it as another instance of the integration
variable with disastrous consequences! The theta constant is treated
as a const everywhere except within an integration. I would like to
continue to use the sub- scripted symbol, because it adds clarity.
What can I do?
