Hi all,
Not sure whether it is a completely mathematica question.
I generated a slightly complicated plot3D figure and to get it just right, I used plotpoints -> 60 (less than that, was giving a broken surface). However, when I try to save the resulting figure as an eps file, it resulted in a 194 MB-sized file, which takes a long time to even open in any other graphics editor (I need to do some other stuff on this mathematica figure)
Alternatively, I can save it as KB-sized jpeg, but that ruins the figure (cannot scale it and all).
Which made me wonder if the beautiful plot3D-s of mathematica are eventually useless --- which cannot be. So there must be a workaround. Any suggestions ?
