The x values are close, but distinguishable,
In[1]:= N[65279/65280, 20]
Out[1]= 0.99998468137254901961
In[2]:= N[65281/65282, 20]
Out[2]= 0.99998468184185533531
In[3]:= (% - %%)/%
Out[3]= 4.693135047*10^-10
