Hello,
I recently came across this video on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG0Oi1muq_0
which shows some pretty neat animations. According to the creator, it was made with Wolfram Mathematica. Can anyone clarify whether it is possible to entirely create such an animation from scratch with Mathematica, or is it more likely that the author had to use other programs to get the graphic effects? I am currently working on a similar project (in C++) but if Mathematica really allows you to immediately make beautiful animations like this I will strongly consider switching to that instead.
(on a side note, I have already tried contacting the author directly)
