Hello everyone

Is it possible to define custom probability functions in Mathematica?

So for instance, let's say I have a density funcntion:

f_x(x) := 4x^3 if 0 < x < 1
0 otherwise

Is there a way to define this in Mathematica as a PDF, so that I can derive other density functions from this? For instance the density of U = X^2?
