I have a 3D DXF file I built in ACAD 2012 for Mac Educational License.

I need to import this into Mathematica8 for viewing in the classroom. However, when I run

Import ["/Users/TFuller/Documents/CALC II/solid1.dxf"]

I get a blank graphic. The command works, but it's a blank picture.

I'm pretty savvy on a lot of stuff, but I'm not finding any stipulations on the ACAD file for ease of importing to Mathematica8. So, am I missing a major step or requisite? The support documentation video is a joke if you're trying to troubleshoot.
