Hello,
I am trying to layer a 3D plot (attached) over data from Mathematica's chemical data. EG "ChemicalData["Pyrimidine", "MoleculePlot"]". Pulling from .mol or .pdb files seems to equally as useless.
Since both plots should relatively be in the xy plane I would like to separate them by an arbitrary z distance. However using the Show[plot1,plot2] command I was having quite a bit of trouble doing this. The attached plot can be converted to any units to match the units of the chemical data.
I already have the chemical data of my molecules through other programs. If there is a way to skin the cartesian coordinates from these programs similar to the ChemicalData in mathematica I believe the show command would work. I am currently creating these graphics in photoshop but the ability to manipulate the data would be of great help.
