Hey,
I've been trying to work out if the eigensystem mathematica 8.0 has produced for my non-Hermitian matrix is correct.
It spits out eigenvectors/values but they arn't consistent with what I am expecting and I can not find any other sources of error.
Does mathematica 8.0 correctly determine the eigensystem of non-Hermitian matrices or is the eigensystem it is providing me incorrect?
I have just assumed it was correct since there was no error but now after running through every other aspect of my code I can only question this.
