and if all what you are interested in is just making a CDF and not publishing it at the demonstration site, then all what you have to do is make a Manipulate[] and then do SAVE->AS->CDF
that is all. It will create a .cdf file that you can run on the web.
Think of the .cdf file as like a java applet file.
