I need to find a double bar symbol that will enclose a vector to represent that it is a norm.

This is purely formatting, not trying to actually find the norm. I am simply writing the equation in mathmatica as a reference.

For example, I want ||n||, but the double bar left and double bar right symbols that can be used within mathematica as a special symbol or used with unicode do not scale to the size of the enclosed characters.

In other equation editing programs, you can wrap something with double bars in the same way you wrap something in mathmatica with brackets or parenthesis.

I can't find anything on the math assistant palette or any unicode representation that will help. It needs to be wrapped all at once, adding a double bar left and double bar right with special symbols does not scale properly.

Thanks.
