Hello,

So what I'm trying to do is the following:

I have an equation r^3 + .25*(r^2)*(6-5*b) + r*(-3+b) + .25(2+b) = 0.
I'm trying to solve for the root(s) of this equation while varying b each time (-100<=b<=2)

This is what I have:

c[b1_] := r^3 + ((r^2)*(6 - 5*b1))/4 + (-3 + b1)*r + (2 + b)/4
For[i = -2, i < 3, i++, FindRoot[c[i], {r, 1.1}]]


But it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions?
