Hi
can anyone tell me how to get Mathematica to solve a problem with a particular formatted solution.

Let's say something like y=f[a,b,c,..] and i want to solve the dy/da derivative but i want y itself to appear in the solution. So the program solves the derivative but expresses it so the y term is in the solution.

Maybe this is trivial, but i couldnt find how to do it. Many thanks.
