I want to draw a cylinder with RevolutionPlot3D.

So far I can only draw a disk though
RevolutionPlot3D[2, {r, 0, 1}, {phi, 0, Pi]}]

so far this is my understanding of RevolutionPlot3d
RevolutionPlot3D[height, radius range, angle range]

I tried doing this to get a range of disks at different heights
RevolutionPlot3D[{z, 0, 2}, {r, 0, 1}, {phi, 0, Pi]}]
but nothing gets output.

How should I go about graphing a cylinder in RevolutionPlot3D?
[I know there is a fxn called cylinder but I don't want to use it, since I want to use sliders later to demonstrate the effect of r,z,and phi]
