Or if all that, just to get some Ticks, is too complicated then
1. Do the plot without that.
2. See the range of Ticks you want.
3. Include something like frequencyTicks = {{.1,.1/(2Pi)},{1.,1./(2Pi},{10.,10./(2Pi)}}
and use the time you saved for something more important.
