Hello all,

How can I declare a symbolic variable in mathematica that will be a function of time ?

For example, say r(t). 'r' is the radial distance of a satellite from an planet. I do not know how r varies with time. Also 'r' in addition to being a function of time is also dependent on other variables like x(t), y(t), phi(t) etc. which may or may not be functions of time.

Thanking You
