I am trying to NMaximize a very bulky function subject to certain constraints. However the error messages I get say that my constraints are not valid. I also get error messages which makes me think that mathematica has ignored my constraints. Also is it ok to use variables with subscripts? I especially have a problem with using 'i' as the subscript as mathematica somehow confuses it with imaginary number. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
