I'm working on a 3D simulation of the Japanese casino game, pachinko. I've rendered the necessary graphics already; my primary issue is the detection of collisions between the pegs (cylinders) and the ball (a sphere). I haven't seen much on the subject of 3D collision detection in Mathematica, and am somewhat confused as to how it could be done.
