I was wondering whether Mathematica 4.0 is capable of plotting in real-time. Can it update a graphics window it created? The reason I ask is that I am looking to create an animation of an object that will respond to data describing the position and orientation as it changes. It seems as if I could do this with a cell (maybe I am wrong) but I wasn't sure if it could be done with a window. If it helps, Mathematica is running on X Windows.
