Hello everyone,
I am trying to find the solution to a system of equations. I need to find real values for j and k. I have put the following expression into Mathematica, but it just runs indefinitely...
NSolve[{(Exp[-j] + Exp[j] + 2 Exp[-3 j + 2 k] + 2 Exp[3 j + 2 k] + Exp[-7 j + 4 k] + Exp[7 j + 4 k])/(Exp[-j] + Exp[j] + Exp[-j - 4 k] + Exp[j - 4 k] + 2*Exp[-j - 2 k] + 2*Exp[j - 2 k]) == Exp[4 j],
