I just installed Mathematica 8.0.4 for Students on my Windows Vista computer. However, when I start it up, there is a big problem with the "Wolfram Product Registration" screen: the buttons don't show up; when I mouseover, I get "This dynamic content could not be displayed in Wolfram CDF player....". I have attached a screenshot of the error.
Essentially, I cannot even get to the activation page (I have a key from my university). I have tried reinstalling a few times but to no avail.
