I am using mathmatica 8 to verify my calculus homework and noticed some odd behaviors when doing integrals. I do not know if the issue is with how I am imputing the data, but here is equation:

indefinite integral 6 cos t dt

I am imputing as:
Integrate[6 cos (t), t]

shift enter will yield:
3 cos t^2

The wolframalpha site, and other math products, will yield the correct answer as such:
6 sin t + constant

any advice?
