I have found the Drawing Tools unreliable, at least on a Macintosh. They seldom worked as they're described in the tutorial, and almost never on the first attempt. A few worked after three or four attempts, and my patience ran out on trying others.
Just drawing a colored line with an arrowhead at one end can require multiple attempts. The tutorial says the stroke tool can set the arrowhead, the dashing, and the color, but it doesn't say when these line attributes appear on the screen. I expect them to appear immediately, but they don't. Is there something I missed in the tutorial that I have to do to get my action with tool to occur on the screen?
