If you could show a couple of ordinary plots for your function with
y=0.02 and x from -0.15 to 0.15
and
y=0.2 and x from -0.15 to 0.15
then someone looking at those would be able to tell what range of values you are trying to map to colors in your DensityPlot and might even be able to guess what to try to see if it fixes your problem.
Or you could just show what your function is and then someone could fiddle with the DensityPlot options until they figured out what the problem was and show you what to do.
