This is a such a basic usage of a ListPlot routine,
I am surprised it isnt implemented (or it is?):
I need to plot a bunch of data with - in the abscissa - a date value, and I simply would like to see on the X axis the labels such as ''JAN 99'', ''FEB 99''... or similar.
The only routine I found so far belongs to Nigel King, back in the old days of ver.2.2 , but it doesnt work.
Do you know of some other way to accomplish this simple task?
