Does anyone have a routine for converting units into the very standard form? Something that works like the UBASE in HP calculator. I just don't understand how Mathematica knows how to convert from Joule to Kg M^2/Sec^2 (using Convert fn) but cannot simplify it during calculation??? No luck with MKS,CGS, or SI fns. Help.
