i need help on solving lapacian and wave partial differential equations.
when we solve these problems, we use fourier series to arrive at an answer.
could you help explain how to arrive at an answer since the text we use is confusing.
could you include an example of how to solve for the lapacian equation when a disc is kept at a constant temperature and the border of the disc has T(x,y)=xy
