All the documentation I have, including Mathematica help files, states that a semicolon will suppress any output. However, this feature is not working on my system. I am running Mathematica 4.0 with Windows 98 on a 233 megahertz PC with 128 megabytes of ram. I am not sure if this feature has ever worked on this version of Mathematica or not. I upgraded last fall and seldom, if ever, have needed to suppress any output.
