This is not a question about mathematica syntax, but rather I am looking for an answer to a problem with opening files.
I have found that when I save/load files from a floppy disk I often find that the notebooks become corrupted.
I have often also found that saving/loading directly from an ftp site gives me the same problem.
I am hoping that someone here has an explanation for that, and barring that --> maybe soemoen knows how to go about doing this without having corrupted notebooks.
