Verify that the Mod2 key is not depressed. The inability to
click hyperlinks as the user describes is another symptom of this known pitfall, see:
Inspect what editing control shortcuts are supported by
clicking on the FrontEnd menu command
Edit -> Motion
If not all of these sequences function as described on your system, it would be a good idea to examine your window manager configuration. I am told that Enlightenment is one of those window managers that defines a large number of keyboard shortcuts, and these will take precedence over
shortcuts defined internally within the FrontEnd.
You might also look at and/or edit KeyEventTranslations.tr and MenuSetup.tr (the latter has precedence) to rearrange editing operations to your liking.
