Hi, I have a list of numbers from a mathematica model I would like to export as a text file, which I will turn around and run some estimators on in R.

Problem is, the Export["filename.txt",list] Command keeps writing some but not all of the output in scientific notation, which I haven't figured out how to get R to read correctly.

I would like to output a list that looks something like

out=NumberForm[collect, ExponentFunction -> (If[-10 < # < 10, Null, #] &)], however this just seems to tell mathematica to display the output in this format, and I still get scientific notation in the exported text file.

there's probably an easy way to deal with this, if anyone knows, I'd love assistance.

Thanks,
