I have set up delay differential equations of the form
dy/dt=f(y-T)
dT/dt=g(t), where the delay is the solution of a differential equation itself (or a given function). Equations of this type occur in biological development under variable environmenal e. g temperature conditions. How can I handle these equations with mathematica? Does anyone have an idea?
