For your first plot:

Go back to your definition of \[Chi]0, do not use \[Alpha] as a list of constants but as a simple variable, and use FindRoot on that expression == 0.8 to solve for the needed \[Alpha] for lowvalue. Repeat for == 1.8 for highvalue. Verify from the plot of \[Chi]0 that these are the only solutions. Then ParametricPlot for {\[Alpha],lowvalue,highvalue}.

Repeat this method for your next plot.
