I was spell checking a document recently and accidently added a word to the dictionary. I now want to remove it from the dictionary, but cannot open it.
I have found the folder Mathematica:SystemFiles:SpellingDictionaries:English
and tried to open several files, .clx and .lex in both Mathematica and Word, but to no avail. Mathematica keeps cycling to try to open it and Word produces garbage.
How can I edit the dictionary?
