I'm trying to define a piecewise function representing the 1-D force between
two atoms due to the Lennard-Jones potential. I'd like to use such a
function to solve numerically a 2-nd order diff. eq. that is 2nd Newton's
Law (Force = Mass*Acceleration). The purpose is to find the trajectories of
the two particles and plot them.:
I'm attaching my ".nb" file showing that Mathematica does not consider my
function definition complete. I cannot see my error as the function seems to
me to be defined all over the Real axes.
