You have a topic at research library about ways for solving quintic equations.
One of that ways is the approach of Cockle and Harley. You say they got a differential resolvent
for a quintic equation. I'd like to know more details about how to find the coefficients of that differential equation, particularly what is the 4th degree algebraic equation in t[rho] and the system of five linear equations in the aj.
