Hi,

you got it right.
ObsNumber is scalar, but the function is a not a polynomial:

eta[a0_, a1_, a2_, x_] :=
a0 + a1*x +
a2*x^2;

medianRMM[M_, eta_, a_, b_, L_] :=
L + (M - L)*
Exp[(a/b)*(eta^b -
1)];

medianOF[m_, a0_, a1_, a2_, a_, b_, L_] :=
Sum[Abs[BW[[i]] -
medianRMM[m, eta[a0, a1, a2, AC[[i]]], a, b, L]], {i, ObsNumber}];

The problem is I dont know how to constrain the function... i need Mathematica to find the Global opt with no constrains...
