Hi,

I have a file with floats from a C program, the numbers are in exponential form as:
1.3433434e-015

I have a lot of columns with this kind of data in the file. Now I would like to plot one column versus another column.
So far I'm stuck trying to import the file, mathematica doesn't seem to understand the notation, it says the numbers are not floating point???

I just do:
data=Import["datafile.dat"]
and it doesn't work.

Also how do I plot an array of data?
Plot will only accept functions, I would have guessed something like
Plot[data(*,1),data(*,2)]
but of cause it doesnt work.

It is not a surface plot I'm looking for, but just a huge pile of points from any two columns in the file.

thanks
