I've been trying to use Optica to ray-trace our optical system, and I'm having a problem with one of the elements: I want to use a 1200 li/mm grating mirror at a 69 degree angle of incidence and a wavelength of 0.8 microns. The problem is that Optica won't produce a diffracted ray for angles of incidence greater than about 60 degrees. Does anyone have any experience with these components?
