I am importing and plotting a large number of data points (x(t),y(t)) to approximate solutions to differential equations. I would like to be able to see them plot in real time as an animation rather than just obtain a full plot all at once. Is this possible in mathematica?

(I am approximating solutions to pursuit-evasion differential equations so to be able to see the pursuer actually chase its target in real time would be significantly more revealing)
