If I try to guess what you really want your code to do then it appears to copy items from M1 into K1 and later replace the items with zero.
If you do not write any subscripts can you very simply explain in terms of vectors or matricies what you really want to accomplish?
Perhaps if that description is simple enough it will be possible to find a solution for you.
