Hi, I am running v4.01 on Linux (RedHat 7.2 Intel) and I am getting the following message on startup:

"The front end could not locate a CharaterEncoding file for the requested encoding (ISO10646-1)"

I've already fixed the font problem where the Mathematica fonts were not added to X's font list, but now I'm getting this error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Erich
