I am trying to teach myself Mathematica and I am having trouble trying to solve what I thought would be a simple problem.
Consider
B A S E
+ B A L L
------------
G A M E S
where each different letter stands for a different integer digit. There is only a single solution (yes, I know what it is :-) so I thought it would be easy to get Mathematica to solve it.
However, I have not been able to figure out how to express it in Mathematica and I get all sorts of errors when I try.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA,
Jenn
