I have a strange problem. All of a sudden when I launch Mathematica my system freezes. I can work around this problem by starting up with only the OS8 extensions enabled. The only change I made in my system was I removed some extensions, ATM and Smooth Type, that anti-aliase screen text. If I reinstall them Launching Mathematica still causes my system to freeze. This did not happen before I removed these extensions.
