The MathLink Framework for OSX in Mathematica 4.2 was experimental and has
been removed as of version 5.0. I was unable to find any reference to it in
the version 5.0 documentation, but if I am in error please let me know
where the references can be found so that I can notify the appropriate
people.
The MathLink SDK included with 5.0 is entirely compatible with OS X, so you
should not experience any difficulties in using it.
There is some erroneous documentation suggesting
that Framework would be included in V5.0 at
mathlink.framework is referenced in Addons &
Links/Mathlink/System-Specfic Information/Mac OS X/Installing
